want a Web OS?

Post by roid »

the general consensus is that google is gonna release a Web OS one of these days, right?

i came across this today... a Web Operating System. It all runs inside a browser window - a desktop with windows and programs and everything. I guess it's good for doing stuff at work, and then going home or to an internet cafe or something and picking up right where you left off, windows in teh same place and everything.

click demo to instantly try it out. i can't really see much to do, but i guess it's a start for Web OSes eh.

yay for the client server model.

Didn't realize it was alpha.

The trick is to try using that Web OS without using your ordinary OS.
