Gwinnett to the airport.. Now that is a nightmare.. Making sure to drive through the meat of the traffic nightmare.. I though it was bad going from Kennesaw just a few miles to NAS Atlanta.. Funny thing is. I can leave a 6am and get to work at 6:20. Or.. I can leave at 6:10 and get to work at 7:00.. Odd huh?

Why does it always have to be mass murder? Can't a person own a gun for some other purpose? Maybe because said person enjoys shooting it at other things perhaps?
I own 4 rifles, a Winchester 30.06, a Winchester .270, an M-1 carbine, and a POS .22 carbine. I have them because I enjoy target shooting. I have never used any of my weapons to kill anyone or anything. Hmmmmmmm, how could that possibly be?

Well Dedman, that gun really wouldn't be used for target shooting...except maybe for the blind...

thx goob. weapons like that arent made for fun and games.
generally, i am anti gun. but i understand that in the US, there is always a good chance that your gun will become your bestfriend, as pointed out to me a while ago. i could also understand that you would enjoy targets as a hobby.
but a weapon that can fire 30 rounds/sec?
i said to Ace last night I'd probably enjoy firing at old wrecks and melons.. but then i thought... that melon could do so much more for someone else.
*shrugs* i tihnking im dying on the inside.

It's when the general population does not have firearms that governments get into the mass murder business.

How do you know? There is a farm in one of the plain states where you can rent weapons like that for target shooting. The owner is a gun enthusiast that has a pretty huge collection. He set up the enterprise to give folks with the desire to shoot exotic weapons the chance to do so in a controlled environment. Want to fire a bazooka? He has one.

I have no problem with having government controlled places where people can go fire those weapons should they choose. But I sure in hell don't want any of my neighbors to have one

Can you say OVERKILL? I admit it is cool, but seriously, there isn't a place for those types of weapons in a domestic environment regardless of how good your initial intentions were in getting one in the first place.

you really belive that Perfect?
my uncle owns 2 himself, and there are
PLENTY of people around the world who own weapons just as powerful as a Mini-Gun. matter fact, take alook at this...
that is a $70000 Rifle, which is called the Barret Arms M-82 Anti-Material/Long Range Sniper Weapon System. he owns 3, not to mention a arsenal large enough that could provide enough firepower to run a small country, plus explosives such as C-4 a Comp-B.

If you ever shot a 50BMG you would know
I like the Nuke50 round best designed by
Birdman Weapons Systems
BWS, Inc. has drawn upon the modern day, virtually untapped knowledge base of post cold war MicroNuclear physics and today's desire for a compact blast-packing cartridge . World renowned Ex-Soviet MicroNuclear physicist "Borris" has recently joined our engineering team to bring the world yet ANOTHER hi-tech BWS product. The perfect addition to you JADED.50 Rilfe kit ...It's the Nuke50 MicroNuclear .50 BMG Round! (with additional "Concealed Carry" Nuke50 Delivery System also available.

he is wearing shorts, it was over 100 F outside when that pic was taken.......the overcoat is a very thick leather jacket worn to protect his body from the insanely massive kick that rifle produces. when i first ever fired that rifle, it nearly broke my shoulder

Besides, I didn't see any people in front of that thing when it was being fired. Apparently you CAN shoot it at other things.

notice it does say "Anti-Material" the M-82 is frequently used to take out trucks, light armor vehicles, small APC's ( Armored Personell Carrier ), undetonated ordinance, and yes persons at extreme ranges ( > 1 Mile...upto 2 Miles effectively )

he owns like 300+ Acres of land outside Valdosta Ga. he also owns ~200 Acres of land out in the middle of Tx. trust me, there is no population within 3 miles of each place that he owns. the GOV Wouldnt allow it. and yes he is watched closely by the ATF, NRA, and FBI. they check logs of usage and stored amounts of ammunition and explosives.
ANY error in those logs results in a heafty fine
