Not surprised that this is written by a fellow Canadian, our (in)justice system is a complete joke, hopefully the Conservatives can do something about it, but it will take a while to appoint enough new judges to fix it.

there's no 'safe area'. just an area that's less dangerous.

Why do you think martial arts are so popular, Mobius? I'll tell you. It's mainly for two reasons. To defend oneself and to satisfy one's interest.

Make one comment about grammar and I'll jump on you like a dog on a piece of meat. ;)

I can walk straight into the Downtown East side of Vancouver, stay there for a good part of the day.. and not even worry. why? because I know exactly what's going on at any point in time.
