As a result i was one of the ppl who was not surprised at all by Sept 11 that year. Or how the media handled it, or the subsequent Afghanistan war, or the subsequent Iraq war. Everything became predictable.

Hmm... It's interesting, but it just shows that all people, except those who created their own individual thoughts or were truely in charge, live their lives according to peer pressure.
And if you look at people's lives again, you'll notice that it doesn't take a large article to confirm that.

When we first entered Iraq, and all the dopes that said it'll be over in a few weeks, I was the only person who, correctly, predicted that we would be there for years, or even decades.

9/11 was no suprise, we've been asking for it for years, screwing those countries over and over and over.
