Anyone know how I can get \"Mechwarrior 2:Mercenaries Titanium Edition for Windows 95\" to work. I have it installed, it just won't run. I know there is at least one Mechwarrior know-it-all who knows how to do this.

Right-click on the shortcut to the program, hit \"properties\", then go under the \"compatibility\" tab. Fiddle around with the settings in there until it does work.

If that doesn't help, I don't know what to tell you.

The Netmech Revival movement are proud to share; A member of our community has put together a patch to fix Mechwarrior 2 Win95 version, so that it works in Windows XP.

Link to patch:

YOU STILL NEED TO RUN IN WIN95 COMPATABILITY MODE.

If you would like to post any comments/bugs concerning this fix, please top it up on our forums:

This means that it ONLY works with the original, so it doesn't work with:

Mercs
GBL
ATi Rage editions
Direct3d editions
Anything other than the original campaign Windows 95 v1.1 (if you have v1.0 you can upgrade it with the official patch to v1.1)
If it says the file doesn't match the patch, this is exactly what it means, it isn't a bug, your version isn't supported
I have been there, and that is the problem, many sites are pricky to either Win 95, Titanium Edition, or Mercenaries (or any combination.)

You are out of luck, its not going to work. Ether set up a second machine/drive/partition with Windows 98 or aquire a DOS version of the game and run this:

Read the FAQ.

Lame...

Well, screw copyright, I bought this game, and if it doesn't work, I am getting a DOS copy from a torrent or something.
