check the size of your file and file type against the rules of the site you're trying to post. I use photo bucket and they have a 500K limit (or something close to that) for non-subscribed users like me!

They also do a poor job of telling you that your picture didn't post. ...small text and such.

Once my router was screwing up small (and large) uploads, seemed to have a real thing against properly uploading gif images. I flashed the router firmware and it was cured. Bad LAN cards can also cause problems, but they would be more likely to show up in LAN file transfers instead of small slow internet transfers.

What you can try to do is completely uninstall and delete the TCP/IP stack and network drivers in windows, and reinstall them (newest versions) and that should probably narrow out any software problems.

If you use a router, try connecting directly to the internet.

And try using a different web browser to upload the images just-in-case.

browser = bad FTP.

Get CuteFTP or the one I use: Core FTP Lite

Ignore Mobius' comment, Imageshack does not use FTP.

Other computers on my netowrk seem to be ok. What ever the problem is it's prob going to be in my computer. I'll do what you said about updating the network drivers. I'll aslo find a new card to test.
