To be honest i think they made this by running a regular video camera on the two guys, then deleted the frames that were not wanted.

Wouldn't that produce motion blur or mostly capture their legs in mid air?

Unless they can some how jump perfectly in sync with the video feed, I doubt it was done anyway other than frame by frame.

Digital still camera or a video camera wouldn't surprise me, they probably used both. The final fade out shot was probably done with a digital still camera timed to take pictures at regular intervals though.

well you would have to stand still for a second but you would just move a little stop move a little and stop while the camera was rolling. That would be the fastest way to do all of those shots. Going up the slide must have been shot backwards.

If you ask me, it looks like it was fake.
I'd say the thing that makes me think this was that the sand din't seem to have any marks left in it for where the people were standing.

Fake how? The video exists, it's clearly real. How they did it is the real question.

I still think it's stop motion, the shadows moving as some scenes progress is an artifact of each individual frame being taken over the course of a long period of time. And the treads in the grass appear even though the person can only be seen hovering.
