Iraq War Poll -- if you could do it over

Alright, I'm just curious on poll numbers. There's no \"I was against the war and now I'm for it\" because I seriously doubt anyone switched like that, and I had a feeling some people would abuse that option

How about, I was for the war but knowing now that Bush didn't have the balls to do it right I wish they had left the morning after they captured Saddam.

No dice. Either you're with us, or you're against us.

Lol, and you call yourself a Libertarian! You just contributed to the status quo of two-party polarization with your push poll tactics

Just ignore this man; he hates opinion polls.
Considering his ideology, it's no suprise why...
(I won't be replying to any message by Will in reply to this; just a heads up)

Hmmm.
Mine would have been, "I was against the war, and now I am for staying to prevent a civil war."

Funny I was for the War.
Now I wish we would just uproot and leave tommorow. Let them duke it out and kill each other all they want. Then return in a few years as a UN peace keeping force at the price of CHEAP oil as long as we are there.
(Of course I also support if we do pull out sell weapons to each side increasing the coins in our coffers
)

will, I think you are overreacting. of course a poll has limited options. it's a poll. you can never put everyone's opinion into a multiple choice questionare, nor would anyone expect to.
sheesh

Hey I'm just trying to see how many would have picked the option I wish had been included. I put it in another thread so you can examine how many pick that option or not, no big deal.

I was neither for or against the war, and now see it as the mistake it is.

I was for it then and I still am. We need new leadership though to finish the job.

Against then, against now. It's all stupid. Makes no sense.

I was against the war, I STILL think it was a mistake to go in the way we did. BUT, I'm opposed to just pulling out.
We've made a mess, indeed, but walking away will only make it WORSE. If we can't get out in some way that looks like a victory, we will have taken a country that was
1: one of the very few semi secular states in the middle east and left it a radical Islamic state.
2: an enemy of Iran and turned them into an ally of Iran.
3: less involved in terrorism than most of the other middle eastern countries and left them as a hotbed of terrorism.
4: fairly stable and left them in a state of civil war.
And add to that the fact that walking out will prove to the terrorist that all they have to do is hand us a big enough body count and we will leave them alone. That is NOT the message we want them to have!!!!
I wish we had never ever started this fight this way. And I'm not certain it can be fixed now. But walking out is about the WORST possible thing we could do.

I was for the war at the beginning.
Afterwards, However, I realized how many funds and troops would be required to at disposal which caused detriment to the overall well-being of the united states.
I also believe that america in general has not not benefited from this war whatsoever.
