Hello, I'm thinking of getting an HDTV and I was wondering how feasible would it be to replace my monitor? I know that 1080p HDs have a native resolution of 1920x1080, so if I set my comp to that resolution and plug into my HD will the visuals be satisfactory?
Does anyone have any experience with this?

I wouldn't, computer monitors are still better at being computer monitors then HDTVs are, even the expensive ones that do 1080p. You can get better latency out of a computer monitor then a HDTV and probably for a lower price. Get one of those huge 30\" displays if you really feel you need it, they run at resolutions up to 2560x1600.
But if you do connect your computer to a HDTV via digital or vga, and run the native resolution it should look fine. Just keep in mind a TV is designed with the idea of you sitting 6-12+ feet away from the screen, while a computer monitor is meant to be 18-24 inches away.
