I think the whole principle behind a PCV valve is that it's a VALVE...

But who cares about smog anyways? :)

Assuming that line is connected to manifold vacuum as a PCV line should be, you'll now be sucking crankcase fumes, aka AIR, into the engine at all times which could result in drivability problems. Furthermore, knowing you BOY WONDER HOT RODDERS as I do, you've probably over-carbureted the sumbitch to begin with, so it may or may not hole a piston, depending on intake manifold design. As Stingy pointed out, there's supposed to be a VALVE there which not only controls when air will be injested, but also handles the flow rate. Get a proper VALVE and GROMMET, retard. :roll:

summit racing equipment? they have one of those that isnt in summit county ohio? i thought this was the only one... hence the name.
