Need new MB

I need a new motherboard and cpu. My existing board seems to be having issues but everything else in the system is new with in the last year including the case and ps. I would like to stay with an Intel cpu if possible, maybe a Core Duo 2.

Here are my specs:
MiniATX form (4 slots for cards)
PATA and SATA drive support
On-board Ethernet
On-board Audio

Most likely I'll need to replace my video card too since it's an AGP card.

Anyone have suggestions?

Does it *have* to be MiniATX? Could you manage with a full size ATX case instead? AGP is going to be a really tall order lately, so PCIe is probably a better idea in the long run. How much do you want to spend? And how big is your current PSU?

No suggestion for miniATX. IIRC Shuttle has one MB w/ C2D support tho. As for GF/X card, I would recommend a 8800 GTS 320MB or if you can wait a bit a 8600 GTS. You will need new memory as well unless you already got DDR2.

I have a DFI-KT600AL board and it runs like a champ, even after almost frying it.... I doubt that it can run a dual core, but it does SATA and PATA too... I think...
Here's a link to the stats of it

I would like miniATX becuase thats what my case will take

. and I don't want to change that. I'm prepaired to go to PCIe so I'm looking for a video card too but I can figure that one out. My power supply is large enough but I don't remember how big it is. I also don't want to spend more than a few hundred on this upgrade.
