Thanks. I have Bet51987 (aka Bettina, in-game) to thank for letting me in. Or at least for nudging the sleeping mod into letting me in =) Kind of surprising that she helped me, considering that she seemed to hate me before, wanting to ban me from a game for some reason. *shrugs* Well, certainly not complaining ^_^ I love Descent, and have played it for many years, mostly in multiplayer. Nice to be here

It was a case of mistaken identity, from what I saw (I was in that game for a few minutes).

It sure was, Foil, as I tried to tell Bettina. (She laughed at me and told me I had the same IP address as Geordon) Oh well. Happy to be so welcomed here.

That sounds like Bet alright! One time she kept badmouthing one member here and wanted him banned when he posted a direct link to the PM inbox.
She thought it was her inbox alone that was linked!
Sufice to say, we all got a great laugh after it!

Hey, I once killed someone while I had a ping higher then that (2100 MS), with MD, in the open, in Steel Vapor. It really says something for the noob I was fighting, that I was able to predict their moves two full seconds in advance.

Actually, that was a server hiccup.....while I was on dial-up chatting on teamspeak.

Shows you how old that pic is since I've had DSL for about two and half years now.

This was waaay back when Anti-Cheat was just in its early testing phases.
