Anyone else play BF2142?

I've been enjoying BF2142 for the last while. Lots of servers, no bunny-jumping, low ping... fresh meat.


Anyone else play?

I almost didn't buy it because of the spyware rumor. I never saw a paper when I opened the box that others \"claimed\" they got and I hear that the windows patch disables whatever programs like that, that it installs. I haven't seen any problem so far. Good game.

I have BF2142 and Northern Strike. I have seen one or two actual ads, but most of the time the billboards have stuff related to the game.

Yeah, these newer games are hard on PC's. Especially over the network.

Quake 4 was unplayable over the network on my old PC but worked just fine in single player. Never saw a problem and it ran smoother than most of my other games at the time. Then I get a newer PC and Q4 runs fine over the network.

I will as soon as I upgrade my computer, my video card isn't supported, & my MB doesn't support the newer one I want, so eventually.

Battlefield 2 and 2142 are not intercompatible, so no it doesn't really count.

I sometimes play BF2142, but haven't for a while. Oh, and you don't want to play on NZ servers. Not because they're bad, just because you'll get owned with the latency.
