HHCTRL.OCX error?

Post by []V[]essenjah »

Anyone ever get this before? I found a bit of adware (probably game related)and a couple of small spyware programs on my system. But that was about it.

Sounds like some kind of software issue. Anyone see this before?

rthdcpl.exe is a process belonging to the Realtek HD Audio Control Panel and is bundled alongside Realtek sound cards and audio hardware. This program is a non-essential process, but should not be terminated unless suspected to be causing problems.

If you look in the top left corner of that pic, the rthdcpl.exe is the one that caused the error. I'd suggest disabling it in the MSCONFIG.
