\"The FBI's terrorism trade-off\"

Interesting read about the side effect of shifting FBI agents into counterterrorism activities w/o increasing the force size (you guessed it -- other things get neglected..)
http://seattlepi.nwsource.com/national/ ... ror11.html
Explains why I never heard a single word from them about a $2k fraudulent charge on my credit card three years ago. Makes me wonder how high the probability is that I would become a victim of terrorist activity..
Edit: added smiley for ppl w/ diminished sarcasm capacity

And this is a graphic demonstration of the Fear you Americans needlessly feel.
The answer to your question is of course: Precisely Zero.
You are 100 times more likely to be struck by lightning and 29,000 times more likely to be killed in a car wreck.
Honestly, you need to adress your risk assessment skills, ignoring anything and everything your \"governmentary\" and your \"media\" say.

Can we get by with just ignoring everything that \"you\" say?

Can we \"try\" to talk about the \"topic\" here?

Just to clear that:

I'm not an American.

I'm well aware of that.

My "risk assessment skills" are well adjusted, TYVM. Fortunately "my" government is about 13.000km away and I don't own a TV nor radio, I satisfy my news-needs from other sources.
I'd suggest that you readjust you sarcasm detector

I will chose to respond!
No, I do not needlessly fear anything, not even women on PMS, and between one of those and a terriorist, I will chose to fear the former.
