Help!?!?!?!?!?

ok every time i try to join a game it loads and it says , Levels Dont Match, and im like what i just downloaded that level from www.planetdescent.com so can some one help me?

We need a little more info then that, what operating system are you using (Mac/Windows/Linux) and what version of Descent 3. Are you using any custom table files or anything like that?

windows 98 se, descent 3 v1.4, ever server i try to get in that i have the level it loads and says level don't match. And i when i try to make a new game it loads so i dont know whats goning on.

Did you try just autodownloading the level, instead of downloading it yourself?

Check inside the descent 3 folder (C:\\Games\\Descent3 on most installs) for any files that end in \".gam\" like \"table.gam\" or \"extra.gam\". If there are, move them out of the D3 folder or delete them.
(You could skip checking for the files by uninstalling D3, deleting the folder completely, and then reinstalling D3 if you want.)

Then I would go ahead and uninstall D3, delete the folder then reinstall.

Erm Aj, its not smart to admit that you're going to pirate something in an open forum (especially one so frequently visited on a daily basis). Not to mention that its greatly frowned upon. You might get lucky and find the dual jewel edition in a bargain bin at your local EBX for a buck or two. Hell, I think Punisher over on DBB dot com might have a few copies left.

lol i live in a dead town no good stores (well if you call walmart & shopansave a good store). when my mom comes home today ill ask here if she can buy it off eBay or something
