The wife and I are tearing up our living room carpet (whats left of it anyway)and laying down tile and laminate flooring.

I picked up a bunch of sweet fireworks in wyoming last month, but it looks like we are going to have high winds for the 4th so I'm gonna save them til New years. :)

Fireworks = FUN!
Burning down hog farm = not so fun.

:)

Ah, my favorite secular holiday! My wife and I will have a pancake breakfast before watching Waukesha's downtown parade. Then I'll go to the party put on by my parents' next-door neighbors, where I hope to get in at least one game of lawn dice and maybe some ladderball. Then we'll go to the fireworks right at the Expo Center--we watched them from a not-enough-nearby golf course one year, but that was just lame.
