The wife and I are tearing up our living room carpet (whats left of it anyway)and laying down tile and laminate flooring.
I picked up a bunch of sweet fireworks in wyoming last month, but it looks like we are going to have high winds for the 4th so I'm gonna save them til New years.
Fireworks = FUN!
Burning down hog farm = not so fun.

Ah, my favorite secular holiday! My wife and I will have a pancake breakfast before watching Waukesha's downtown parade. Then I'll go to the party put on by my parents' next-door neighbors, where I hope to get in at least one game of lawn dice and maybe some ladderball. Then we'll go to the fireworks right at the Expo Center--we watched them from a not-enough-nearby golf course one year, but that was just lame.
