Just curious, are there any cheat codes that work for DXX. The only one I really want to use would be the full map cheat. I've been playing this game for years and still haven't found all the hidden doors in every level. Some of the levels don't seem to have the full map key in them or at least I can't find it.

The retail codes work in all of the source code projects.

Basically all cheats you know from the original DOS versions should work.

Except FPS indicator - this now works with the -fps option.

Just so you know, the -fps option has been in the source code projects since pretty much day one.

As I remember this was the case for D1X. D2X still had if - afaik - via FRAMELENGTH cheat. But I am not sure anymore. It's almost been two years since I worked on that part of the code.

Hey, I only found out about these Descent projects five months ago. I'm glad someone was interested enough to mess with these old games and update them for present use. Thanks all for the hard work keeping the old Descent game series alive.

The only reason I looked around the net for information on Descent was that I was getting rid of a really old computer and I couldn't part with my Monster Voodoo card. I was looking for a way to use it in a newer computer, just to play D2. As I've found, several people have been modifying the game code for newer systems, so I've been playing these versions to keep my addiction fed.

That is the reason why I do this: Seeing others enjoy it
