do the Plantronics fit completely over your ears and are they comfortable for a few hours of gaming?
Ebay has them for $27 or so....

the Sennheiser PC 150 headset looks very comfortable...ebay has them for $47.
considering that I have a set of Altec Lansing Hphones that are miserably uncomfortable and they cost $39, the price is a good one.

any input on the Sennheiser?

I have a set of beyerdynamic DT 831 headphones, they have better base then the 250 watt sound system's 50 watt subwoffer that is at my feet, and they also have 16 dB of ambiant noise isolation.

UT2k4 has voice communication built into the code...so it doesnt affect the pings at all. I'm hoping more games will follow suit...this would be an excellent addition to Descent.
I've played a lot of games over the years, but nothing even comes close to descent :|

voice chat should be added to the D4 wish list.

The latency difference for using teamspeak is non-existant if you have 256k or greater upload on your internet connection.

Both Freespace and Freespace2 have it as well.

Just a follow up:
the Sennheiser PC 150 headphones are extremely comfortable and sound terrific.
I'm glad I bought them and would recommend them to anyone else looking for a mic/headset.

My only beef is that the headphones dont cover the ears (more comfortable), but rather press up against the ears....
