Vortex out of date issue

For those where the problem already occurs and don't want to wait for the autoupdate to do the trick:

Just download the latest Program from here:

http://www.slyclan.de/vortex/Vortex.exe

and put it into your recent Vortex folder to REPLACE the old one.

That will do the trick and Vortex will not get out of date again...

The autoupdater will work very soon too...

Further updates that most likely will have a complete rework of the \"relay-function\" (which doesn't work for people on Win98, and XP SP2 in the current one) will be available soon so it is STRONGLY recommended to keep track of the latest Version.

The new Vortex got several general modules updated and several bugs fixed...

Hi Do_Checkor,

I've done a fresh install of Vortex 0.2.2 and d/led the above replacement vortex file.

Now I'm getting the following error.

Don't remember seeing this before.

I'm getting the same error now.

Packet.dll not found

Vortex won't start at all since updating.

yea sorry - the developer got out a seperate testversion and replaced the actual release candidate - the files should not be needed anymore with the most recent version that can be found on the Link above...

I just released the 0.2.2.9 Version. Auto Upgrade available from now (if not blocked by your firewall or other settings). There is NO NEED for any extra DLLs to download or install. A further built will be available in a bit. Skorp is still working on the rework of the relay function...

- all open connections will be closed after each query (should fix problems if vortex is running a while)
- if zipdll.dll is missing vortex doesn't crash anymore
