Vista Installation - Holy Crap! (is this real?) lol

I just had to reinstall Vista on one of the machines on here. I told the pre-installation environment to format the partition (No choice but NTFS now). It only took a few seconds. Wha?? Was that just a quick format? After that, I was at the desktop after only a few minutes. Have you all done a clean installation of Vista before? Is it really that quick or is it supposed to take an hour (like I heard)?

haha
I agree with all the posts here
Yeah, they should engineer it better, but they've implemented a lot of new features in Vista that are far more advanced than old versions of Windows (at least on paper.
) It's hard to say which one is better, Linux or Windows... I guess Linux because it's not bloated... and I don't have to reboot after installing most things.... Oh, well. ^_~ Looks like I can't playfully call it "windoze" anymore. ^_~
