Ok, this is old news, a year old. But somehow I missed it last year.

The gist of it is that Bush got congress to pass a bill amending the War Crimes act so as to give himself, and his entire administration, immunity from prosecution under said act, retroactive back to 09/11.
Now you'll note, all of the sources linked above are left wing. But when I did a google on this, thats all I came up with. That makes me a bit suspicious that perhaps they have misinterpreted what passed?
But, then again, President Bush has shown a willingness to push the limits of interrogation just as far as he thinks he can get away with, and even further. And he shows a complete disregard for any kind of oversight or justice in any case involving \"terror\". So I wouldn't put it past him.
But surely if this had really passed it would have made a bigger splash in the news?
Anyone got confirmation one way or the other?
