New Guy - Who is hosting Game Servers pls
Hi All, this is my first post to you, I hope you can help! I have enjoyed Descent for about 8 years now, started with D2 on PC, and now at last want to play D3 on line but now Pxo has folded, and the automatic way of getting on to a server is no longer available. Talking to a friend who is more in touch with computers than me he says I will need to find who is hosting, establish a sign on name, find server name or IP address, check if a specific port is required and clarify if my firewall has to be adjusted. If anyone knows who might have written some thing on this in the past could they please let me have the URL so I can start set up for on line play. Thanks for your time, Dan.
