I've got a question.
Who made the Vertigo levels?
Are they fanmade or Parallax work?
I'm playing Vertigo right now and I like it a lot

The Vertigo Series is the add-on for Descent2. It also featured the \"hoard\" multiplayer gametype, and new robots.

Sure they are sweet.
I'm playin' them on Trainee and i don't feel the levels so hard. Although in Rookie they are a bit more tough.^^
But so, somebody knows who made the levels?

Funny, I thought the fact that I mentioned that its an add-on pack would have made that fact quite clear.

Weren't 'Levels of the World' fan made levels? And an add on pack? Just because it's an add on does not mean it's made by Parallax

Levels of the World was for Descent 1 and were indeed made by fans. The Vertigo set was made by Parallax for D2 and as MD mentioned added Hoard game play.

Technically thats still illegal since the game is apparently still being sold. Now if this were the FIRST Descent, nothing would be done since that game was release for free years ago by Interplay. (on a PC Gamer disc)
As a staff member, I ask you to please remove that link.
You can get a legal copy
on Amazon.com

well if you have Descent 1, I can send you my converted \"Vertigo Demensia\" which hands picks 8 of my favorite vertigo levels and about 2 standard counterstrike levels and converts them to Descent 1, with revamped texures and all. Its like a new experience in known levels.

nope, but got a email? I'll send it to anyone who wants it and supplies an email. Be warned, it can be brutally hard, but its completable on Ace. I made sure of that.

sent and sent. Sure its not all Vertigo levels, that'd be bad on me! XD But its got 8 good ones plus 2 counterstrike ones I liked plus a cool custom level by Kyoryuu converted to D1.
I also send you two 16 levels of Lost Levels that were converted to Descent 1 just for kicks.

The Vertigo series also remixed/mostly extended the CD tracks. I especially like the staccato segments of \"Crush\" and \"Untitled\"--Brian Luzietti and Mark Morgan are superb musicians.
