So I'm trying to login to Microsoft Outlook Web Access with no luck so far (purpose is to be able to read your outlook email through their site).

I noticed that the login format is domain/username.

Does this mean for my username I punch in mydomain/myusername instead of myusername@mydomain?

neither one seems to work for me

I also tried my username without the domain at all, still didn't work.

I don't get it

Domain is the NT domain, which may or may not be the same as your company's DNS domain. For example, this past semester my login was \"CAMPUS\\username\" (note the backslash, not the forward slash).

OWA login will never be username@domain.com

At my place of employment it can either be:

Username
Password

-or-

Domain\\Username
Password

Username@Domain.whatever
Password

Works for Windows logins. Make sure your password hasn't expired or was reset. If reset, you may have to choose a password besides the default to login to OWA!

The fact of the matter is this...

• If you have an email account with an organization that provides/allows a Outlook Web Email interface, then how to logon is entirely in the hands of the email administrator.
• Requirement to enter the Domain is also controllable by the way the Outlook Web Email has been configured.
• With Windows systems, if you are required to specify the Domain in same field as the username ... it is always done as 'domain/username with the '/' character, NOT the '\\' character.
