Yo,

When you come upon a webpage that opens a dialog box asking to install something, can it be coded to install when you hit the “X” instead of “Yes”?

My first guess would be: No.

If the dialog box is a true ActiveX install request, only \"Yes\" will start the installation.

If you are't sure, open Task Manager and kill the process that is associated with that pop up window.

Thanks,

Yea killing the process is what I usually do, I was just wondering if it was really necessary.

I've seen popups that are actually one image, linked, I use a non default theme and the window was in the default theme for windows XP.
