Super Smash Bros. Brawl for Nintendo Wii will hit the stores(in March 9th, 2008).
Characters that I'm willing to play the most as:
-(Star)Fox
-Samus(and Zero Suit Samus)
-Mario
Characters that I'm NOT gonna play as:
-Pikachu(due to the fact that I hate Pokemon)
-Pokemon Trainer(same as above)
-any other Pokemon characters that are in/gonna be in Brawl(same as above).

Marth, Peach, and Fox are my favorites. Will definitely try most of the new characters. I'm also interested to see if any of the former clones from Melee got their own movesets (Falcon, Ganondorf, Young Link... etc.)

I use Link. His up and down aerial attacks kick ass! And his upwards throw is pretty good too.
If you haven't guessed, I'm the kind of player that prefers to keep my enemy up in the air as much as I can.

I've been playing this game off and on since the japanese version came out about a month or more ago.
My favorites are Rob, Toon link, and Sheik (she can stick to walls now
)
Sapphire if you like Fox you'll probably like Wolf alot too. Plague if you like Marth you'll probably love Ike.
The game is really similar to Melee in a lot of ways. But in some cases the physics are a little different. There are some characters that can stay in the air indefinitely (ie pit, meta knight). Also the attacks have something called diminishing returns now, so the more you use a certain attack the less power it has, until you die and then it starts over again.

Did you have a bad experience with a certain pokemon?

Don't suppose you're actually going to explain why you hate Pokemon so much, no?

One of the Pokemon characters in SSBB looked kind of cute actually... the blue fox-like thing.
But I presume people don't necessarily play characters for that.

Lucario, pretty much the new replacement of Mewtwo, but less rare. He's one of the main characters in, IIRC, the 8th movie.
