definately a newbie
Took awhile of fumbling my around with all this and guess what, still am 
anyway, with your help and big welcome guess I'll eventually get there. Hope i dont cause too many embarrassing displays of etiquette in the meantime.

Another question, currently I am getting all my replies to my email, is that the normal way or is there a way to be notified from within the the descentBB forum via my accounts inbox message alert or otherwise

you can only delete your own comment if no-one has yet posted after you.
you goto edit-post, and there is a \"delete this post\" checkbox just above \"submit\"
