Vista Password Reset

hey, i just got a computer in from a friend that needs to get the password reset, and she doesnt/has not made a reset disk. is there anyway to drop the password from the registry or drive?

ive already tried a Repair Console and it asks for a password even after that?!?!?

Check your PM - I may have the answer for you there. Read it all, I know you tried the repair console but there are steps after that to reset it.
