Overview

Windows® XP Service Pack 3 (SP3) includes all previously released updates for the operating system. This update also includes a small number of new functionalities, which do not significantly change customers’ experience with the operating system. This white paper summarizes what is new in Windows XP SP3.

Non-Subscribers: will update this section when released

Windows XP SP3 will be available to non-subscribers on 4/29 via Windows Update and Microsoft Download Center.


This Link should work after 4/29 Windows XP SP3 Website
Until then it will just say invalid and leave you at the download website search headend.

I hope they'll eventually put it out a CD, like SP2 was offered, so that you don't have to download that huge mess for future XP reinstalls.

That would be the "stand-alone" version.

Where does that info come from ? Don't see it on TechNet (/me is a TechNet Plus Subscriber).

Edit: bah, will just wait for the MSDN disk to show up..
