According to Valve's latest hardware survey this is the most popular collection of components at the moment:

I'm nowhere close to those specs. I'm still using a 6x00 generation video card...

Core 2 Duo E6600 (2.4 GHz),
8800 GT/512 MB,
2 GB RAM,
Windows XP SP3,
1120 GB HDD,
19\" 4:3 CRT @ 1280x960, 100 Hz + 20\" 4:3 LCD @ 1600x1200 dualview,
Realtek HD audio,
Microphone packed somewhere in a moving box,
DVD burner,
512k DSL here, 10 Mbit cable where I am going.

onboard sound, I'm too lazy to stick a card in, and it sounds fine anyway.

microphone? Pah.

I think it will do...I can play COD4 @ 1920x1080 full effects with stable framerate. Nintendo emulator works fine too!

That's gotta be among PC gamers, I think. Otherwise you wouldn't find the NVidia 8800 as the most popular graphics card.
Mine isn't that much different, either:

This is based on users who have STEAM installed in allow them to upload your hardware specs.
