I came across this article on McCains first wife, Carol. Its quite a depressing read, I had no idea. I have alot of respect for McCain, but I do think he is probably dammaged. There is an irony after reading this article that this is the man that all of Hillary's feminist supporters are flocking too.

Do you think we will see this in the mainstream media? Barack is certaintly stained with decisions from his past. But this issue seems almost...too real to \"use\".

Oh yea! If she starts giving interviews you can bet on it. Even just the one she gave for that article will be enough to fuel that story for a while.
McCain is a stereotypical senator elitist type with the ego supreme. But Obama may have enough of his own problems to cancel out that story.

All politicians are dirt bags.

The Irony here will be the Democrat’s hypocrisy, when they use a part of his “personal” life to disqualify him from being president.

“A man’s personal life has nothing to do with the ability to run a country”

(but we all know it goes to their character, right  )

Gotta Love Obama tho. his wife puts herself into the Political arena publicly campaigning for him and when she started getting blasted by the Clinton campaign, he started crying foul.
IMHO if YOU enter the fight your free game.
If McCain's Ex enters the fray the she's fair game. if not then they should leave her alone.

I tend to agree with Cuda, and I think it would backfire huge for Obama if he is seen in anyway of stiring this pot.

Moderator: Senator Obama, why do you think we should have nation wide health care?

Obama: We're all God's children, Bob. And I think if you were to talk to McCain's ex-wife, who is disabled...

lol!

Yeah I think they should definitely leave her alone, but I think it might be an important topic to raise, or at least an important thing to point out. If he became disenchanted with her because of her accident, that shows a lack of character. I read about it awhile back while doing some digging in regard to McCain, and what I read didn't really give enough information to allow me to make an accurate judgment. It could be that the accident left her a changed person in more ways than one. Either way, though, to me, it boils down to a matter of faithfulness. If you make a commitment like that to someone, you don't give it up just because there are difficulties or complications. It's \"'till death do us part\", not \"'till difficulties do us part\". I wasn't there, but on whatever level it may be, I think it's despicable.

It would be in very bad taste to say the least and cruel at the worst.

If your wife can't trust and rely on you, no one can.
