Getting \"OVER PPS\" messages?

Are you sometimes getting \"over PPS\" messages in D3 games and maybe even have strange network / ping problems?

If you got a AMD dual core CPU this could be a fix for you (thanks to Foil for the hint) even if the topic does not appear to have anything to do with it:

Eh, I'm pretty sure I originally heard the suggestion from Grendel, he should get the credit.

Anyway, yes, if anyone has a dual-core AMD processor, the links in that thread might fix your issue (as well as some other system-timer-related problems).
