Maybe its not being deleted. It could be a technical issue like a database/server problem. It happens.

I've had a post or two removed before here on .net. In both cases, I deserved it; I was reacting to something moronic, and ended up posting something that would've just made things worse.
IMHO, mods here do a pretty good job maintaining the balance between:
A. letting everything slide (which would turn .net into another .com) and
B. deleting everything (which would be even worse)

My way of doing things is pretty simple. Ya I know people have complained about me nazi-ing necros. the only time I do nazi them is when it's just something that really doesn't help the topic any. like a 'FTW' or 'lol'. bringing a topic up just to say that? come on.
Now if it's something that took some effort to write and really contributes, I leave that alone because it's actually kinda cool and helps things along. If there's a concern all you have to do is ask. i'm not some hardline ogre who runs things with an iron fist.
