A friends Dell Inspiron 1525 running XP shows \"Boot failure, System down\" after a restart after installing Windows updates.

Is it possible to go into \"Last Known Good Configuration\" in Safemode?

I assume the problem is from the updates.

Sounds like she's getting the \"Dell\" logo up now but won't go past that.
