Friendly Bots

I'm think of a level with some bots that are loyal to the player...meanin they'll escort, fight and die for him/her. Is that even a possibility...to create bots that won't attack you but help you?

If so...what do i need to do to make them like me? Cos i know money's not gonna work.

Can't be done... guidebots can escort you, but they don't attack other robots except under cheat codes.

It's an outrage. Though the thought of having a Sidearm escort party wasn't a bad idea

What was the config option to \"Allow\" them to fight each other, like some do in d3. I'll get sick during a circle strafe and back off and next thing i see is the RAS-3 that was trying to kill me is now goin against the thresher that was behind him.

I tried giving a D2 robot the \"buddy\" option before. It would lead me to places like a guidebot, but when it turned to face me it would shoot me. It was quite funny.

That's what i was attempting to do too. But he went beserk and i'm thinkin...why ya shootin me when i programmed you NOT TO SHOOT ME!

I solved that problem by killing it though
