So here's the headline:

\"Barack Obama lines up a cabinet of stars as John McCain struggles on\"

So you think the story is about who Alfred E Obama has picked for his cabinet when he is \"for sure\" anointed by
the adoring masses. I'm sure the newsy who wrote the headline anticipates many of the clueless voters will simply look at the headlines and walk away knowing their boy has everyone picked for cabinet duty and they must be good because the word \"Stars\" is in the headline.

Au Contraire my darlings. Reading the article gives you:

\"Barack Obama is considering appointing a cabinet of stars to steer America through potentially its worst crisis since the Great Depression of the 1930s\"

Now the word \"considering\" enters the picture. So now we see the headline is false and The Messiah has not picked anyone. So nice try Times Online, try making a honest headline next time so you establish some credibility.

I particularly love the way they say McCain \"struggles along\" in contrast to Obama's efforts.

The subject of the piece is the cabinet Obama is supposedly putting together yet no where in the article do they mention what cabinet choices McCain has made but the headline implies a comparison between the two by saying McCain struggles but Obama is lining up star performers.
They manage to say McCain is struggling to gather votes in Virginia about ten paragraphs deep...I guess to try and substantiate the misleading headline.

I can't wait to see what they write if McCain pulls out a victory!

The headline will be, “America disappoints the world again“.
