It's funny how Barak Obama was never really questioned about his associations or personal details vetted like his administration wants of people in their employ:

(CNN) -- If you want to work for President-elect Barack Obama's administration, be prepared to spill almost everything there is to know about yourself.
As White House chief of staff, Rahm Emanuel will have a say in many of the new administration's hiring decisions.

As White House chief of staff, Rahm Emanuel will have a say in many of the new administration's hiring decisions.

The Obama transition team is sending a seven-page, 63-item questionnaire to every candidate for Cabinet and other high-ranking positions in the incoming administration.

The questions cover everything from information on family members, Facebook pages, blogs and hired help to links to Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, American International Group and troubled banks as well as lawsuits, gifts, resumes, loans and more.

The transition team has about 7,000 positions to fill, according to the U.S. Government Printing Office's Plum Book, the quadrennial list of positions subject to presidential appointment. Video Watch how detailed the questionnaire gets »

Included are 15 Cabinet positions and nearly 200 ambassadorships as well as agency heads and their immediate subordinates, policy executives and advisers, and top aides to those officials.

The largest part of the questionnaire asks prospective White House appointees and their spouses to list real estate and other business transactions, affiliations and relationships as well as personal financial and tax information.

It also asks about writings, speeches, testimony, online communications and even personal diaries.

An entire section requests details on any criminal or civil legal action in which the applicant may have been involved. The last question in that 11-item section asks for details on any child support or alimony orders.

In an apparent effort to avoid the problems faced by several nominees in the last two administrations, a block of four questions is devoted to ferreting out details -- including the immigration status -- of any domestic help the applicant may have hired.

Question 61 seems to have been prompted by the controversy over former 1960s radical William Ayres in Obama's campaign: \"Have you had any association with any person, group or business venture that could be used -- even unfairly -- to impugn or attack your character or qualifications for government service?\"

Under the final, \"Miscellaneous\" category, the questionnaire asks for the names and phone numbers of past live-in lovers; whether anyone in the applicant's family owns a gun; the state of the applicant's health; and whether he or she has any enemies.

It's obvious every precaution must be taken for people that work in and around the administration- any administration...but if you want to work for the man, that's what they require of you.

Sometimes, it's like you guys are not even aware of your own existence.

Did NBC/CBS/ABC/CNN ever examine or investigate Obama's background like they did John McCain, Sarah Palin or even Samuel Joseph Wurzelbacher (Joe the Plumber?)

What do you mean “you guys”?
Yeah. What do YOU mean \"YOU people?\" ;P <- non sequitur movie quote.

We know he was palling around with terrorists.
We know that his preacher hates America.
We know that he took cocaine and marihuana.
We know that he worked with the socialist voting fraud organization ACORN
What else do you want investigated?

Oh, here are 50 further facts that you might not have know about Obama.

I particularly liked:
He collects Spider-Man and Conan the Barbarian comics
and
He applied to appear in a black pin-up calendar while at Harvard but was rejected by the all-female committee.

When I went to lunch I listened to Hannity on the radio today. He was talking about this almost verbatim. Ranting about the \"hypocrisy\" of Barack Obama, because no one vetted Obama like he is vetting his future staff.

The Irony is I got lunch, and when I was driving back he had Dick Morris on and they were talking about the fairness doctrine and how it would negatively affect Sean's 14 million listeners a week. Those 14 million who for the past year all they heard was negative Obama vetting.

I thought to myself, \"its like this guy isn't aware of his own existance\"...saw this thread, and posted that comment. :P (In fact if I learned TB was Sean, my shock factor would be 1). So that’s what stemmed the “you guys” and the comment in full.

I don’t watch CBS or ABC, but both NBC and CNN ran numerous Bill Ayers stories and Rev. Wright stories. I saw the Birth certificate story on CNN a few times, but it was mostly shot down.

Regardless, tell me TB, name a single damaging issue that Fox news looped about John McCain as much as both MSNBC, and CNN looped the Rev. Wright sermons.

Seriously doubtful. His Hawaii birth certificate has been pretty well established to be legit.
