Too bad more muslims can't be more like Kerry and disregard what their religious leaders issue as holy word (and yes you morons, I realise good Fatwahs" are issued ;) )

Rejecting the admonitions of several national Roman Catholic leaders, Senator John Kerry received communion at Easter services today at the Paulist Center here, a kind of New Age church that describes itself as "a worship community of Christians in the Roman Catholic tradition" and that attracts people drawn to its dedication to "family religious education and social justice."

Mr. Kerry's decision to receive communion represented a challenge to several prominent Catholic bishops, who have become increasingly exasperated with politicians who are Catholic but who deviate from Catholic teaching.

Why is Kerry being Catholic but not totally following Catholic propaganda an issue?

Who gives a ★■◆●? Do you? Really?

H-bomb (Hypocrite). Truth is, I doubt anyone is buying he's a Catholic at all. Just more John Kerry, international man of mystery. If he thought it would get him votes it wouldn't surprise me if he were to shave his head, put on pajamas and start slapping a tambourine.

Didn't he just discover about 4 month's ago he was not irish but actually of jewish heritage ?

Got to give him props for finding a church as flexible as he is though, he's a resourceful guy.

I believe he's a Jewish/Catholic/Hindu/Muslim/Buddhist hybrid with agnostic underpinnings. His spirituality is too *enlightened* to be restricted by any single dogma. ;)

It wasn't a wine 'n' crackers party? Hrmm, there must be some "nuance" at play here.
