...I'll have had this account on the DBB for 10 years. That's a lot of game playing, chatting, texting, lurking, and good fun for a decade. I thought I'd mention that now 'cuz I head up to Alaska for work soon and wouldn't be able to July 28th. But thanks for all the good times people, and here's to a decade more (and maybe new Descent games)!

Yeah it really doesn't seem like it's been that long since then.

Safe voyage!
I remember flying into King Salmon and taking a taxi to the Naknek dock. A tender picked up me and a few other new hires to take us out into Bristol Bay to process red salmon on the M/V Northland. The slime line is not fun.
Say \"hello\" to the bears for me. They missed the opportunity to eat me and a pizza I carried from the Naknek pizzeria to the dock while waiting for the tender to arrive.

Yeah, there was. And the forums changed to phpBB-based after that. The earliest members are shown as having registered in 1970 due to that for some weird reason - but it kept my current account (which is closing in on 10 years itself - first one was from July 1998 I think, may not still be on the board).

If I'd have to guess it would be 9 years. I've changed names 7 times since then. But you still hump your hand cracka-ass cracka.
*it could easily be 10 years.

I haven't been on the same account all along, and I've usually just lurked anyway, but I've been on the DBB since shortly after the D3 release in 1999. I was eleven at the time.
