I'd like to get a small flat screen monitor to hook up to a computer I'm working on until I get it up on the net. Then I can use LogMeIn and store the monitor.

Right now I'm using a 17\" CRT as a second monitor which is a bit much for my space.

Somebody said there were small screens techs use.

You have a PSP? I saw a news article on a cable you can buy to hook it up to your computer to use it as a second monitor. :) I didn't read it too in depth though. :(

No PSP

Thanks for the Google. Did look around there but didn't know if there was something inexpensive and that you all had used.

Thanks.

Nah, no one here is going to bother with a screen that small. I had them when I was a server admin years ago (well, wasn't LCD...) but there's no real reason to have one now.

Thanks, I just don't have any space and only need one every once in a while.

If you know what you are doing, try a surplus supply house like All Electronics and grab a surplus screen used in cars and such. They usually require 12 volts, and a composite video signal.

Testiculese, what program did you use to do the video.

I use Jing but won't let me \"step into\" the video as yours did. Quite cool.

Any way to use my laptop as a monitor for a desktop computer?
