Not sure whether I changed something but when downloading an attachement from an e-mail I'm not given a choose to open instead of saving it somewhere.
I can open it from the Download window but has also saved it to wherever I have setup.
Can I just open a file?

In FireFox, go to the Tools menu, then select \"Options...\" In the options dialog, in the \"Main\" portion you will find settings for controlling FireFox's behavior when you choose to download something.

Been there TechPro but there's nothing to allow you just to open. As far as I can see all options don't give you an option not to save but just open.

check your firewall options. AVG was doing that to me when I was using it.

If you've already been to the download options ... then I assume this happens when you're getting certain file types? Not with everything? Most likely you need to find that file type in the lists shown in the Application options (in the FireFox options) and tell FireFox that you want it to always just open that file type. It's entirely your choice.

They are saved as Windows Media Player WMV files. FF just doesn't give me an option to open them w/o saving them.
