yep 6 years since last visit here (approx)

now im a bit tired of playing combat arms with hackers everywhere!!!
so i installer d3 again today and notices there were more than one 1.4 patch...the one on planet descent and the one with a nocd in it!!

so wich one do i use ...for now i installed d3, then mercenary, then the 1.4us patch then the one with the nocd thing.. am i ok so far? cause its not working very well after installing the 1.4us patch it said something about an other version in the game???

i got win xp pro
celeron 2.8 gigs
1 gig rams
1gig video card ati radeon hd 3800 series
and integrated sound card
cable modem and a full of dust microsoft precision pro joystick..

after installing the game with patches your suppose to see the version you got on the bottom right side of your screen at start up but i dont see it,,
then when i tried to configure my joystick my fire button and my axis didnt work either,, they were working fine before, its usb btw with the adapter..

i really wanna run this game flawless cause i miss it a lot

i rarely played d2 in kali, i played more in another server (cant remenber the name),, it wasnt KAHN either,, anyway i remember a few names in the forum here

i installed vortex last night and played a game online, does that meen that i patched my game correctly?

and my trigger on my SPpro isnt working,,is it hard to fix if i open it up?....

Hey Pizza good seeing you in the mines. I played a few games on Rangers server with you for sure. I remember I was just Gauss fodder in most of those games and prayed I lasted more than 30 seconds.

As for stuttering issues, on board video, Intel G series, etc. are pretty buggy with D3. I find updating the drivers or re-installing works best.

Use Driver Cleaner Pro to flush out all the old driver dll's and registry entries;

Follow the instructions in the readme... Important.
DL the latest drivers and re-install.

Also turn down the sound effects and use software compression from the setup launcher. See if that helps.
