since ive never dealt with torrents, i \"THINK\" its just the files.

.toast files are just .iso files in disguise. Renaming it to .iso should let you burn it. The .bin files sounds like the OS 9 updates. They're encoded to allow transfer between non-MacOS computers without destroying important metadata. Once you get OS 9 insytalled on the G3, simply transfer them over, run them through StuffIt expander than then run them each in tun.

rename the .toast to .iso

add the files to a image

burn

run CD on the MAC, with whatever keyboard key you press to make it boot from CD

Sounds right. Once you hear the Apple Startup noise, hold down the C key to boot from CD.

since it's a .toast file ... if you've got Toast installed already then there is no need to rename to .iso. But if you don't have Toast ...

PC Morons attempting to be MAC noobs

if it's a .toast file copy and rename it to ..iso extension (do not add ANY files) burn it

if it's a .dmg file then mount and burn using transmac

Boot mac hold C until you see a loading screen

install will hold your hand the rest of the way

then you can puke and wish you installed 10.3
