Janeane Garofalo is definitely whacko, I remember watching her on Bill Maher, and she just spewed stupid crap. There was no form of debate or reason, just the kind of \"republicans suck\" or something of the like. At least she can decently play her role on 24, although ironically it is often considered a right-wing show :D

Big edit: Lothar convinced me that decorum calls. I removed the teabagging definition hints for people to Google.

yes, I know what teabagging means; no, I don't think any Republicans rallied around \"teabagging\"; no, I don't think it's cool to suggest people google the term.

That's why I didn't actually say what the perverse term was! So Googler's beware!

Typical, take a rallying point in our history and turn it into a derogatory term. the ONLY one's that called it \"teabagging\" are the hardcore leftwingers that dont like people questioning their Messiah.

She is the left's Michael Savage.

(In fact, I think she rips off alot of his stuff and flips it. I mean, if your gonna sell yourself as a nut, you should at least be authentically so.)

So why were people at these rallies holding and displaying teabags? They set themselves up for a ribbing. Do the American people even know the history behind the reasons for the Boston Tea Party?

People weren't against taxes, they just wanted the taxes to be levied by their own government representatives, NOT the British Parliament.

because they were using it as a representation of the ORIGINAL tea party where they dumped it into Boston Harbor and to my knowledge and I am not a tea drinker, you can only buy it in bags??

I'm guessing that you cant see the symbolism in that huh

not to mention that it does not excuse the childish response from the Far left and especially MSNBC.

again I believe your Missing the symbolism. not to mention that what has become our represntative government has very little resembelance to one that actually represents the people. so the Tea party is not far off of what they did in 1773

Political dissent is now Racist, wow what a nice gift for the lefties. If there is one thing missing in the liberal gene pool, its definitely the ability to recognize when they are doing exactly the same thing as they are accusing others of.

Let the healing begin, can you feel the love?

“Im laughing at the superior intellect” (Star Trek)

I wish the search worked, because I really have the need for a giant “I told ya so”.

Bags are the cheap way to go, and there's no mistaking what it is. Loose-leaf tea tends to be more expensive, and if you showed up at such a protest with a bunch of loose tea, it's likely people would think it was drugs or something.

I often see soldiers in the Battlefield game series \"teabagging\" others. This one guy on my team killed another one of my team mates and started teabagging him. So I blasted him with my assault rifle and walked away. Didn't bother reviving him. Anyone who \"teabags\" is a fagggit :P and they will soon feel teh wrath of my assault rifle, rockets, shotgun, or any other weapon I can get my hands on. =P

And that's my story and I'm sticking to it. =P
