I got all 8 of my kids and the 4 married ones spouses, along my 2 grandsons together at my wife's and my church. first time that's we've all attended a worship service together in 6 years. and my wife expected nothing. it was SWEET seeing the look on her face when she walked into sanctuary and saw 2 rows of her family sitting there. and the Pastor specifically recognized her and Our family. :)
then the Kids bought her dinner and afterwards she and I had some alone time

she told me that it was the best Mothers day gift that I had ever gotten her. well it only took me 27 years to get it right :P

Inquiring minds want to know!

I got my wife The Love Dare, since she had enjoyed the movie "FireProof".

BUT, she also wanted to go to Scarborough Faire for Mothers day. It's a Renaissance Festival. We didn't get all dressed up this year, mainly because we weren't certain how much trouble we were going to have hauling the kid's wheelchair around through the rocks and mud. But it turned out to be pretty dry and accessible, so we really should have gone in costume. We had a lot of fun anyway, even dressed as mundanes. :)

We only stayed at the Faire till about 3:30, then went over to my mothers house for further mother's day celebrations.

I got my wife a \"United States of America\" shirt, size XXXL, from the truck stop I work at.
It's never good to wake up in the shrubs naked, you either got way too drunk, or your azz is a werewolf.
