The people that made this video say they're working on a special project they can't name an the moment.
They put a ton of work into this vid and it does have that myst/riven feel. And one very riven-ish adobe looking sphere building.
Yeah. They already made a sequel to Riven. It wasn't as good.

I think there were three follow-ups to Myst post-Riven; Myst III Exile, IV Revelations, and V End of Ages... I didn't play any though. Riven was really the peak of the franchise.
These days you can basically do the same thing in real-time, so there isn't so much point any more. (Unless you actually built a real set and took photographs of that, it is hard to beat e.g. CryEngine 2 for realism.) Haven't seen anyone actually do that though, with the \"adventure\" genre where it is.
P.S. Actually, there was talk of LucasArts going back into that, now that I think of it. Don't know whether it is substantiated.

I've own(or owned) all of the myst series at one point.
Riven was the high point. 3 abused Quicktime VR, 4 abused it more, 5 was fully 3d.
Uru had potential (an MMO exploration game), but the myst moniker torpedoed it before it really had a chance to go.

Riven was definitely the hardest for me to beat. That damn power grid puzzle took me forever.
I liked Exile and Revelation, I especially like the soundtracks to all the games. They make good mood music.
