I think so; the most recent version of D1 (D1x-Rebirth) should support direct UDP/IP play. I'm pretty sure its D2 equivalent does, and they normally seem to keep pace with each other.

I can't seem to get it work over the network. I think because I'm behind router. Any idea how to solve this?

Sure Do just read the Included 1 page README, under Multiplayer....... It really can not get any easier than that..
