Hey, anyone know of some decent FREE software for playing DVD's? I found some a while back but lost it. I'm using another program but it seems to be picky about what DVD's it will allow me to play.

There are codec packages online you can can choose from. On installation just check off the one you're looking for. klite is a free one.

Don't touch klite, whatever you do.
A much better option that actually includes a GOOD player is the CCCP pack.

I use Media Player Classic in the Combined Community Codec Pack.

Agreed (if you're running some flavor of Linux). Don't know for the Windows side. Haven't used it there yet.

works great!(in windows) Haven't had a problem one with it.
If you buy the plus version, you get some editing capabilities.
