Having played WoW. .. that is a bit too close to reality. .. er virtual .. you know what I mean.
A couple of guys at work that are big WoW players knew about this series already. news to me. The main gal is also part of the main cast from the Dr. Horrible Blog series. And from what the guys told me, that's actually the actors' apartments that are used in \"The Guild\".

I play, but I dunno that I'd call myself an addict.
I don't think any of my co-workers know... I don't really want to be identified by it.
Also, I got into it via friends from college, so most of the people that I associate with in the game I knew personally before I started playing with them... for what that's worth.

The original vid is actually pretty new to the scene.. she ended up releasing it just a few days prior to Blizzcon if I remember correctly, so it got talked about quite a bit. Of course, it doesn't hurt that she and the rest of the Guild cast were THERE, drinking it up and geeking out with the rest of the attendees.
